It’s Cancer szn and for those of you who aren’t woo, Cancer themes include the home, our childhood and the “mother” archetype. I use the term mother loosely because you may have had a step parent, grandparent, etc in this role too. But the truth is, we all were birthed and came from another body that housed and influenced our development from conception until our birth.⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Talking about our mother figures can feel super taboo or off limits because of love, loyalty, culture, or it’s just too painful. Yet without addressing our mother figure wounding we are going to miss so much important information about ourselves to better understand why we do the things we do now.
Have you dived into your mother figure issues? If so what has been helpful? And if not has this been intentional and or perhaps something you’ve avoided/thought wasn’t important? I’d love to hear about it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
