Redefine Parental Relationships

Just because that’s the way it’s been doesn’t mean that’s the way you need to continue to do things, with anything in life including your relationships.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So even if you've felt like you’ve “done the work” with your parents and had set boundaries, reestablished a good relationship, have gone no contact, you can always change your mind if you feel differently or they change. Yes some people are so toxic no contact needs to stay in place. But if you are feeling things need to change again that’s ok too.
