🔑 Some key things to look for are:
Can you each have your own life and can also come together and share a life with balance
Is there is ease coming and going?
Can one of you leave for a business trip or weekend with friends without having a panic attack or needing to control the other person all the time?
Is there a respect for differences of opinion?
Are conflicts handled fairly?
Are our issues being swept under the rug with one person dominating or are both sides being listened to?
When there are fights (which are totally normal to have in a healthy relationship) do both parties fight fair and listen to each other and give and receive feedback?Â
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Really think about these questions and answer them honestly.
Did they give you insight as to where your relationship stands?
Did any of them resonate with you for how you want your future relationship to be?
A healthy relationship is feeling that the relationship is safe and knowing where you stand and where things in the relationship stand.
It's feeling that the relationship is supportive, an open place where you have good communication and knowing that you can be vulnerable.Â
This is the type of relationship you deserve to have 💖
