What You'll Experience
You'll have 5 meals and beverages provided from Friday night to Sunday morning. We will do our best to accommodate food allergies and preferences.
There will be 2 ritual ceremonies, a soul retrieval guided meditation experience, a nature craft to create together, and group and 1:1 time with Cassandra to support you in integrating lessons and messages from the plant medicine.
You'll be held and supported during your journey, with time to journal, dance, take nature walks with your team close by to ensure your safety.
We'll gather around the fire each night for connection and community building.
Why this Retreat
Plant Medicines are gaining popularity and credibility in helping people as a part of their healing journeys.
Unfortunately, many people are still engaging with the medicine in ways that are appropriative, do not honor the Spirit of the medicine, the medicine keepers, and the culture from which medicines such as Hongos (mushrooms) come from.
This retreat is for those who wish to be guided through a microdosing experience, to build relationship with the medicine, to be educated about the lineage and history, and to receive the deeper healing benefits that come when we are in right relationship with the medicine.
If you feel like something is missing in your life, that you tend to people please, or feel like you haven't really figured out who you are, it may be possible there are parts of you that have been "exiled" during trauma.
In my cultural tradition, this is called "Soul Loss."
The energy of an Aries full moon is supportive to uncover parts of us we may have been disconnected from for too long, to reclaim and reconnect with them.
I am honored to serve as your guide, facilitator, space holder for ritual, integration circles, a soul retrieval ceremony, and some play and fun over a weekend together in Nature on sacred Acjachemen Lands now called Orange County, CA.
This is an experience for those dedicated to decolonizing their relationship with healing and plant medicine. This is not a "party" experience (although we will have fun!) and there will be protocols leading up to and during the retreat.
You'll be asked to eliminate heavily processed food, other substances (including alcohol) other than what are prescribed to you, 3 days leading up to the retreat. We ask you honor this protocol until your journey has concluded Saturday evening.
What You'll Need to Bring?
We will have space for 2 people in our large tent for those who feel comfortable and need accommodations. There may be other attendees willing to share as we get closer to the event.
Due to limited parking (4 vehicles) we may also be arranging some carpooling for folks who live in the OC area.
Let me know ASAP if you are willing to carpool!
Otherwise, please bring your own small tent, hygiene products, sleeping bag, extra blanket, pillow, refillable water bottle (we will bring jugs of water to refill), your headphones, journal, your favorite ritual items (tarot deck, crystal, etc.) if you feel called, and your fav emotional support snacks.
