Ways To Be More Intentional In Your Relationship

Updated: Jul 15, 2020

If you spend more time on social media than connecting with your partner in a day, and are not connecting in an intentional way, check this out.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It took over a year for my husband and I to implement all of these things and to start having a truly intentional, conscious relationship. There's so much relationship advice out there so I thought I'd share what have been the most essential for us and our relationship success.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When clients come to work with me and are in a relationship this is part of the "external" work we do. So many of us were not taught how to have an intentional relationship and we're just in relationship hoping, expecting, and wishing our needs would get met.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'll let you know if my husband ever starts to read my mind, but until then, things like our weekly meetings are essential in keeping us feeling connected, safe, and preventing many misunderstandings.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

With Compassion,
